JEAN (HAYES) GEVER
PROVIDENCE, RI. – Jean (Hayes) Gever, age 95, passed away on August 24, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Gabriel Gever.
She was born in Attleboro, MA, a daughter of Louis and Gladys (Clement) Hayes. Jean worked as an RN after graduating from the RI School of Nursing in NY and MA. She lived for many years in Oxford and Norwich, NY and retired to S. Yarmouth, MA. Jean enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing, knitting, quilting, gardening, and drove red cars. She is survived by her brother Louis, and her daughters Christine, Martha, and sons David and John. She also had two other children who passed earlier; Barbara and Bruce. She has four grand children: Stacy, Erin, Caitlyn and Kendra, and one great grandchild, Oakley. Jean was buried in S. Yarmouth, MA next to her husband and daughter.
