PATRICIA (RILEY) (EVERITT) POTTER
NORWICH – Patricia (Riley) (Everitt) Potter, 59, of Norwich passed away peacefully on November 7, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born on January 27, 1955, daughter of the late Richard and Helena (Cardner) Riley. She graduated from South New Berlin School in 1973. Patricia recently retired from Chenango County, where she worked for many years as an account clerk in the Drug and Alcohol Department.
On October 6, 2000, she married Martin Potter in Norwich.
Patricia is remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, niece and friend. She enjoyed many kinds of crafts and had a lot of friends. Patricia was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Norwich.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Martin Potter of Norwich, her daughters, Melissa Everitt of Utica and Lacey Burlison of Norwich, her step-children, James Potter and Jamie Neis, Courtney Potter, siblings, Laurie Burdick and husband Roy, Colleen Riley and Dave LaFlair, Marc Riley, grandchildren, Abby, Megan, Kayla, Lindsey, Ethan, Eli, Dominic, Trinity, her beloved dog, Princess Ellie, nieces and nephews, Don, Craig, Wendy and Tom, Renie and Steve, Joe, her aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew.
Patricia was predeceased by her sisters Sandy Ryan and Judy Davis.
Friends may call on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
