CHARLES W. ARNOLD I
PLYMOUTH – Charles W. Arnold I, at the age 73 of 103 Rourke Rd., Plymouth died January 7, 2015 at his home following a long illness.
He was born January 23, 1941 in Oneida, NY, the son of Jay and Frances Switzer Arnold. He will always be known for his wheeling and dealing as he loved buying and selling things, especially antiques. Those that knew him knew he was always a great host as he always had a pot of coffee brewing and never turned away a visitor as long as the lights were on.
Chuck married Marion Krom in Ellenville N.Y. on July 2, 1960. Surviving are his wife Marion, two sons, Charles (Vicki Coy) Arnold II of Plymouth and Richard (Cheryl Ferver) Arnold of Oneida, two daughters Vicky (Michael) Bliss of Walton and Bonnie (John Martarello) Arnold of Norwich. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Tyah, Casey, and Ronald Schunk, Joshua Van Houten, Cody and Jacob Arnold, Phillip O’Dell Jr., Michael O’Dell, Veronica O’Dell Edwards, two great-grandsons Darius and Joey O’Ddell and five great-granddaughters; Jazmine Dewey O’Dell, Lyssa Schuck, Skylar Fasther, Jayden Schunk, and Justice Schunk. His brother David Arnold of Clockville and his sister Jean DanBois of Rome.
Calling hours for Chuck will be held on Friday January 16, 2015 from 4-6 pm at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, Norwich NY. As per Chucks request there will be no formal funeral services
