HELEN HALLENBECK
GREENE – Helen Hallenbeck,100, of Greene, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, William S. Hallenbeck Jr.; parents, Walter and Edna Robbins and by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons and dauhters-in-law, Dr. William and Alice Hallenbeck , James and Janet Hallenbeck all of Greene; four grandchildren, Cheryl and William Shay, Dr. Jonathan and Wendy Hallenbeck, Martha Reid, Sage Hallenbeck; eight great grand children; sister -in-law, Mineva (Buddy) Robbins and nieces and nephews. Helen helped her husband run the family business. She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church, Greene. Funeral services were held 2:00pm Saturday at Zion Episcopal Church, Greene. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion Episcopal Church, Moore Memorial Library or to the Greene Fire Department.
