WILLIAM A. PARKER
EARLVILLE – William A. Parker, 83, of E. Main St., passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at his home. He was born in Earlville on April 12, 1931 a son of Clarence and Mary Kohlman Parker and graduated from Earlville High School. On April 25, 1964 in Earlville he was united in marriage to the former Marcia A. Furner. Bill was employed by Oneida LTD for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a life member of the Earlville Vol. Fire Dept., and served as a board member ; the New York State Fireman’s Association (FASNY); life member of the Chenango County Fire Police Association and the Madison County Fire Police Association. Member of the Tri-County Coin Club and a volunteer at the Earlville food cupboard.
Surviving are his wife Marcia; his children, Scott and Tina Parker of Jacksonville, FL; Susan and Brian Marks of Hamilton; grandchildren, Mitchell, Zackary and Cassondra; and many In-laws nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2015 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, NY. Interment will be held in the spring in Willcox Cemetery, Earlville, NY (Town of Smyrna). Friends are invited and may call on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
