YOLANDA M. CARAVAGLIO
NORWICH – Yolanda Mary Caravaglio, 98, a life long resident of Norwich, passed away Friday evening, January 23, 2015, at the Valley View Manor Nursing Home.
Yolanda was born in Norwich on December 3, 1916 the daughter of Giuseppi and Catherine (Ferlazzo) Caravaglio. She grew up in Norwich, attended the Norwich schools and spent her entire life in Norwich with her family. Over the years Yolanda was a member and communicant of St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church.
Yolanda is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Lil Curnalia and Margaret McCarthy. She was predeceased by her sisters Rose and Victoria and her brothers John, Joseph, Frank, Nofio and Salvatore.
A graveside service for Yolanda will be held in the spring from St. Paul’s Cemetery at a time to be announced. There will be no calling hours.
