MARGARET G. WILLCOX
SHERBURNE – Margaret G. Willcox, 82, formerly of Sherburne, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Chenango Memorial Hospital RHCF in Norwich.
She was born July 28, 1932 in Greene, a daughter of Juliand and Bertha Ellis Goshaw and received her education in Vestal schools. Margaret was and accountant at Standard Brands, Oxford Feed & Fuel, and then the Urban League in Binghamton until retiring in 2000. Her favorite hobbies included scrapbooking and embroidery, and she loved her feline companion, “Sneakers”. Margaret was a member of the United Church of Christ in Sherburne.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Bruce Lobdell of Columbus; grandson, Randy Lobdell and his companion, Michelle Scheumeister of Utica; great-grandchildren, Alia Lobdell of Norwich; Ajay Lobdell of Utica; Jason Fink of Norwich; and Savana Wightman of Norwich.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, March 12, 2015 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be in the Sherburne Quarter Cemetery at a later date.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
