RUTH BICKFORD
NORWICH – Ruth (Fredenburg) Bickford, 58, of Norwich passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015, at her home in Norwich with her loving children by her side.
Ruth was born on March 22, 1956, daughter of Mary Ellen Wooster in Rockland, Maine. After high school, Ruth went on to earn an associates degrees in Business Accounting and Business Administration. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Chenango County Public Health and Chenango County Environmental Health.
Ruth was a devoted mother. She took pride in providing for her children and she was always a hard worker, often working more than one job. Ruth volunteered her time at the Ladies Auxiliary and The American Legion. Ruth was a dedicated and loyal friend. She was always willing to help someone when they needed it.
Ruth is survived by her children Brock Manwarren of Norwich, Leeann Manwarren of Norwich and Jeremy Bickford of Portland, Maine, her brother Donny Bickford of Maine and many loving friends, family, and co-workers.
A celebration of life in memory of Ruth will be held at a later date to be announced at a later time.
