C. FRED WEAVER
NORWICH – C. Fred Weaver, Ph. D. - “Dr. Fred” of Norwich passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Fred had been sick since October 2014. He is survived by his husband, Robert Johnson, daughter Joanna Brown, son-in-law Ryan Brown, two other children Ben Weaver and Sarah Bergin, and their spouses. Fred had six grandchildren. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Dr. Cynthia Weaver (2009).
Dr. Fred was the Coordinator/Assistant Professor for the Human Services Program at Morrisville State College, Norwich Campus since August 2007.
A celebration of Dr. Fred’s life will be held after the Community Food Drive at 1 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015 in the Community Room of Follett Hall on the Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College. Friends are encouraged to support the Human Services Organization (HSO) started by Dr. Fred in 2007 in lieu of flowers. Donations to the food drive, HSO, or students’ Service Trip to Camden, NJ are appreciated. Members of the Morrisville – Norwich Campus community and friends may volunteer to support the food drive by picking up donations with students on Sunday, April 12 any time after 9:30 AM. Those interested in helping may go to Follett Hall on the Norwich Campus on Sunday morning.
