LIDIA CHMIELOWIEC
OXFORD – Lidia Joanna Chmielowiec, 88, of Oxford passed away peacefully Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital RHCF .
She was born November 27, 1926, in Warsaw, Poland, the daughter of Tadeusz and Joanna (Dabrowska) Sikorski. Lidia married Alfons Chmielowiec in June of 1958 in Manhattan, NY.
Lidia lived and work on Long Island in the Aerospace Industry until her retirement in 1991.
Lidia is survived by her sons; Mark Chmielowiec and his wife Lori of Oxford, Adam Chmielowiec and his wife Jill of Franklin Square; her 5 grandchildren Jason, Matthew, Trisha, Krysta, and Andrew
At the family’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
Arrangements are by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home of Norwich.
