LINDA M. (WINTON) ABBOTT
EARLVILLE – Linda M. (Winton) Abbott 61 yrs. old of Earlville, NY passed away on July 14, 2015 in Hamilton, NY after a 29 year fight with Lupus.
Linda was born on February 26, 1954 in Norwich, NY the daughter of Raymond & Edith (Cooper) Winton. Her childhood was spent in Columbus, NY and she attended New Berlin Central School.
She loved to collect lawn ornaments, wind chimes, dolls and unicorns. She also enjoyed painting, camping, fishing and going to lawn sales. She was an avid Yankees Fan.
On November 8, 1970 she married Woodard Abbott who survives her.
Linda is also survived by her sons; Joseph Abbott of Smyrna, NY and Jameson Abbott of Norwich, NY and her daughter; Shannon Abbott of Milton, FL as well as grandchildren; Shane, Natasha, Wyatt, Loreigh, Bryce, Coley, William, Kyle, Matthew, Nathan, Troy and Starr. She is also survived by her brothers; Jack, Laverne, Norman and Laurence Winton and sisters; Evah Peek, Gail Endress and Peggy Allen and her beloved dogs Chi-Chi and Rosey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Whitney House in Columbus, NY with Reverend Stephen Reese officiating. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 PM also at the Whitney House.
