MARTHA LOWDERMILK KNUDSON
Martha Lowdermilk Knudson of Messiah Lifeways Village, Mechanicsburg, PA died Monday, December 28, 2015.
She was born September 30, 1922 in Williamsport, PA, the daughter of Theodore and Hazel Miller Lowdermilk
Martha graduated from Williamsport High School and Williamsport Dickinson Seminary (currently Lycoming College). In 1945 she married Louis I. Knudson of Ithaca, NY. Most of her married life she lived in Norwich, NY where she was active in the United Church of Christ First Congregational and many other community activities.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Erica Eckhardt, and husband, Louis Knudson.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Andrew, Bryan and Christine Eckhardt and several Nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, PA with Pastor Sharon Eckhardt officiating.
Memorial contributions in Martha’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
