JODY LOOMIS BLANCHARD
Jody Loomis Blanchard, 51, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 25, 2016, at her home.
Jody was born in Norwich, NY on May 31, 1964, the daughter of the late Charles Loomis and Mary Doupe Loomis Horton. She had been previously employed as a veterinary technician for the Tidewater Animal Hospital, Norfolk, VA. More recently she had helped Gene Wood in his auction service. Jody was an avid Green Bay Packer’s fan and enjoyed all kinds of artwork, including drawing, painting, and cross-stitch. Above all, she cherished her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Alan Blanchard of Cincinnatus, Brienna (Jacob) Blanchard-Sautter of N. Pitcher, Cameron Blanchard of Cincinnatus, and Devin Blanchard of Cincinnatus. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Arianna, Gavin, Jaiden, and Owen; a brother, Charles (Carri) Loomis of Pitcher; a sister, Sandy (Bob) Mabe-Granier of WA; nephews, Kyle and Sam; a niece, Samantha; the father of her children, Larry Blanchard of Cincinnatus; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with Fred M.S. Downs officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
