Barbara Louise Hendrickson, 57, formerly of Sherburne and most recently of Norwich, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2016, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital of Norwich surrounded in love by her family and The Rev. Stephen Reese of the Columbus Community Church.
Barb was born on June 4, 1958 in New Berlin the daughter of Leland and Lurena (Barnes) Hendrickson. She attended school in New Berlin and Sherburne from which she graduated in 1976.
Barb is survived by her son Jamie Rogers and wife Becky and their children (Barb’s grandchildren) Jasmine and Jordan Rogers all of Sherburne, her siblings Richard Merrihew and wife Judy of Genoa, Gary Hendrickson and wife Hope of McGraw, Edward Hendrickson of Sherburne, Terry Hendrickson and wife Lisa of Sherburne, Jean M. Stagaman of Hamilton and Deborah Rogers and husband Walter Jr. of Sherburne. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive and she will be missed by all.
Barb was predeceased by her parents Leland and Lurena and 2 brothers Bernard and Kenneth Hendrickson.
A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 1:00 pm from the Columbus Community Church. The Rev. Stephen Reese, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Columbus Community Church on Saturday from 11 a.m -1 p.m.
