Llewellyn “wally” K. Eccleston


Llewellyn “Wally” K. Eccleston, 74, of Selkirk, NY, and formerly of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL.
Born in Cortland, NY, on August 12, 1941, Wally was the son of the late Leon and Irene Rackett Eccleston. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Ravena, NY. He retired from Armstrong in Fulton, NY, after 32 years of service. He was also a member of the Thunder Heart Golf Course Sr. League and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Fairchild Eccleston, and his children, Bret (Patricia Kelsey) Eccleston of Cincinnatus, Robin (Andrew) Clark of Cincinnatus, and Bridget Beluskov of Taylor, SC. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Matthew (April) Stratton of IL and Derek Stratton of New York City; a brother, Robert (Mary) Eccleston of Cincinnatus; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the K.L. Sharp Funeral Home, Cincinnatus, NY, on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with Fred M.S. Downs officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Rural Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 1:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Wally may be directed to the National Mesothelioma Foundation, 8000 Research Forest Drive – Suite 115 – PMB 220, Spring, TX 77382.
