JOHN F. BRIGHAM
John F. Brigham, 82 of New Berlin passed away on May 12, 2016 at Valley View Manor Nursing Home, Norwich. He was born on October 4, 1933 in Smithville Flats a son of the late Floyd and Elizabeth (McGowan) Brigham. On August 21, 1976 he married Eleanor Hoag who survives.
Besides his wife, Eleanor, he is survived by his sons, Charles and Christine Brigham of Waterville, Brian Brigham of New Berlin; his daughters, Kelly Brigham of West Caldwell, NJ and Terry Ray of New Berlin; his sister, Dorothy Maloche of Virginia. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by his son, John Brigham, Jr; his brother Burton Brigham and his sisters, Margaret Carey and Arlene (Betty) Cummings.
John was a proud member of Local 1249 IBEW in Syracuse and worked for them for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and playing card.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:30 PM from the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, NY with Richard Howard officiating. Burial will be in Hillington Cemetery, Morris, NY.
