Kenneth A. Marvin, 71, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at his home.
Ken was born in Beaver Meadow on February 1, 1945 the son of Gerald & Harriett (Oliver) Marvin and attended school in Otselic. Over the years he had worked as a truck driver for various company’s as well as operating a truck for John Cannestra.
Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman and truly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandkids.
On June 18, 1977 in Smyrna he married Susan Calvert who survives. Besides his wife Susan of Plymouth he is survived by his children Timothy Marvin and wife Becky of Smyrna, Irad Marvin and wife Mandey of TN, John Marvin Sr., of South Plymouth, Timothy Calvert and Richard Stone of Beaver Meadow, Linda Stone of Norwich and Brent Stone and wife Vickie of South Plymouth. Also surviving are his siblings Sarah Locke of Lockport, CA, Gail Nelson and husband Gene of Smyrna, Beverly Darling and husband Jim of Norwich, Geraldine Locke of NC, Marge Pittsley of FL, Zane Marvin and wife Amanda of Beaver Meadow and Douglas Marvin and wife Dolly of Plymouth. 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
Ken was predeceased by his children Dorothy and Michael Marvin, sisters Janice Manwarren and Becky Atchley and brothers Donald and Edward Marvin.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 11, at 10:00am at the Cole Hill Cemetery in Beaver Meadow. A celebration of Life for Ken will follow at 1:00pm from his home on Outback Lane in Plymouth.
