Martin E. Jackson, 55, of Oneida, passed away on Friday, June 17th at the Oneida Healthcare Extended Care Facility.
Born in Endicott, Martin was raised in Norwich, where he spent most of his life, and graduated from Norwich High School in the class of 1979. He resided in Oneida for the past eight years and was well known for his love of classic country music and the Yankees.
Martin was predeceased by his parents Paul and Lynda Jackson, and his sister Lori Jackson.
Martin is survived by his sister Sandy Spellen of Norwich; brother, Harold Jackson of Rotonda West, FL; his aunt, Bonnie of Georgia; and his cousins, Randy, Sheri, Vicki, Shannon (Billie)all of Georgia, and Amy of Florida.
There will be no services at this time with a private burial held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution in Martin’s memory to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 6315 Fly Road # 102, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
