Christopher “Barney” Ray Sr, 59 of New Berlin, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 23, 2016 at his home, after a short battle of cancer..
Barney was born in Feb of 1957, the son of William and Geraldine Ray. Barney grew up in New Berlin he worked for the Village of New Berlin (DPW), Barney then began a small lawn mowing business.
Barney is survived by his wife Susan Ray, his two sons Christopher Ray Jr and his wife Amanda Ray, and Brandon ray. His four daughters Michelle, Tiffany, Chelsea and Amanda all from New Berlin. And several brothers and sisters, Karen, Becky, Wilma, Patty, Robbie, Roger, Billy, Kate, Flora, Christine and Betty. He also had several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his grandchildren Charlene and Kaiden.
He was predeceased by his bothers Tommy and Joe, and his parents William Ray and Geraldine (hoag) Ray.
Barney was a well respected member of the New Berlin community.
As per Barney’s request, there will be no services.
