On July 16, 2016, Bobby Conway, Sr., 85, of Norwich, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 24, 1931 in Greene, NY.
He served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1953. On May 10, 1953, he was married to Betty (Beilby), the mother of his 6 children.
Bob is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons: Bonnie (Harry) Lakin, Teresa Conway, Bob Conway, Jr., Rose (JD) Davis, Randy (Wendy) Conway, and Robin Friedel; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1:00-2:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney with a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm. Burial with military honors will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton, NY.
