Grace M. Wilmarth, 79, of McDonough passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in McDonough surrounded by her family.
Grace was born on February 17, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of Homer & Helen (Clark) Cobb. Her very early years were spent in Bridgeport before moving with her family to McDonough where she attended the local school. Grace also lived in Binghamton for about 30 years where she was employed by Doran Precision working on circuit boards. Her final years were spent back in McDonough where she lived with her husband Eugene.
Grace was an easy going person who enjoyed NASCAR and Flea Markets. On February 23, 1974 she married Eugene D. Wilmarth Sr. who passed away June 4, 2011.
Grace is survived by her step-children Eugene Wilmarth, Jr., of Binghamton, Timothy WIlmarth and wife Carol of Marathon and Caressa Clink also of Marathon, her sister Mary Lou Nightengale of McDonough, Lois Krause and husband George of CT, Nancy Kuntz and husband Ken, her brothers Alvin Cobb and wife Rhoda and William Cobb and wife Carol. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Eugene, Grace was predeceased by several siblings.
A service for Grace will be held on Friday, August 5, at 1:00 pm from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert prentice will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
