EDMESTON - Gloria was called home to the angels on July 20, 2016, at her home.
She was born in Smyrna, daughter of Florence and Alton Coy.
She was married to Darwin Laymon Sr., then married Milo Joslin.
Gloria leaves behind her seven children, Christine Donahue, Susan (Shawn) Getchell, Steven (Karen) Laymon, Richard Laymon, Pamela Misch, stepson, Terry (Luana) Steele and Melinda Laymon;
18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Howard (Betty) Coy and Homer (Delores) Coy.
Gloria worked at the Otsego School in Edmeston, Waterville Knitting Mill, New Berlin Shoe Company, and New Berlin's Eagle Inn.
Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking and freezing from the garden. She also sang in the Edmeston Baptist Church choir.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Milo Joslin; son, Darwin "DJ" Laymon Jr.; brother, Harold Coy; sister, Gladys Roper; and parents.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
