Kevin D. Thompson, 58, of Plymouth, passed away Friday evening, August 26, 2016, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Kevin was born in Norwich on January 30, 1958 the son of Lawrence & Pearl Manwarren Thompson. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Sherburne where he attended the Sherburne-Earlville School before moving to the Norwich area where he finished his schooling in the Norwich. While in Sherburne he had been a member of the school wrestling team.
Throughout his life Kevin choose to live a simple, uncomplicated life. He was self - employed owning and operating KT Contracting. He was an easy going likeable man who enjoyed his family and friends.
On August 11, 1990 in Plymouth he married Debra Rogers who survives. Besides his wife Debra of Plymouth, Kevin is survived by his children Kayla Thompson of Plymouth, Dustin Thompson and fiancée Megan Christophersen of Smyrna, his sister Brenda Santmyer and husband Brian of Sherburne, his brother Dale Thompson and fiancée Wendy Killmeier of Sherburne, and his grandson Tyler Thompson. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Kimberly Harris and husband David, Erin Schuman and husband Chris, Ryan Thompson and Logan Klockowski along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service for Kevin will be held on Thursday, September 1, at 1:00 pm from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the South Side Cemetery of Plymouth.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 11-1pm.
