NORWICH – Amy Lynn Donnelly of Norwich died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 in Syracuse University Hospital after a long-faught health battle.
Born in Norwich on March 16, 1970 to Frederick (Rick) Henry Donnelly II and Dorothy Ellen Brown Donnelly Escoto, Amy was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and most importantly friend to all who knew her.
Amy was an avid game player and loved all types from playing cards to playing the most complicated computer game. Amy also loved her family and friends, and would go wherever they were; moving several times in her life, she decided to live out her final days close to her family in the Norwich area.
Amy is survived by her children: son Anthony and his fiancé Dana Livingston and their son Anthony Jr.; Natasha and her companion John Messineo and her son Kyle; son Gideon Schena; daughter Mackenzie Mulverhill; her grandson Lucien; grandmother Florence Brown; parents, Rick and Dorothy, step-parents, June, Pedro, Nina Staiger and her companion LeRoy Bates; her sister Melissa and her husband Joseph Miller and their two children Ashley and Brandy and her husband Joe Wehner and their son Landon; her brother Frederick III; her brother Benjamin and his wife Marnye; her half-brother Rick Donnelly and his companion Connie Seaton along with their daughter Diamond; her step-brother and sister Bob and Linda McLaren; her step-sister Phillamena and her husband Tom Bates and their children; her step-sister Sally and her husband Brad Straight; her step-brother Terrence Fowlston; her step-brother Roberto Escoto; her step-sister Irene and her children; her step-sister Maria; her step-sister Brenda and her children and her step-brother Pedro and his wife Tammy and their children; her aunt Cheryl and husband Dave Wilson and cousins Duane and Erick; her uncle Tim Donnelly and cousins Amanda and Tiffany; her uncle Louis Brown Jr. and his wife Brenda and cousins Lynn and her husband Ray Haitian and their children, Betty Lou Marsh and her children, Lori and her husband Keith Devine and their children and Michael Brown and his daughter; her uncle Clarence Brown and his wife Cindy and cousin Clarence Jr.; her uncle Charles Brown and his wife Mary and cousin Ralph and step-cousins Tammy, Chris and Tanya.
Amy is predeceased by her grandfathers Fredrick Donnelly Sr., and Louis Brown Sr. and her grandmother Mildred Donnelly; and step-nephew Adam Bates; cousins Matt Phinny, Samantha Brown and Bobby Jo Brown.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home of Norwich and officiated by the Reverend James Moore Pastor of the North Pharsalia Bible Church will, where Amy was a member. Interment will be in the Donnelly Ville Cemetery.
