GUILFORD: Joan M. Gendron, 80, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Bassett HealthCare in Cooperstown.
She was born October 2, 1936, in Flushing, NY, the daughter of Valentine and Mary Williams Boydis. She married Edward William Gendron who predeceased her on January 28, 2000. Joan was a loving, giving, and selfless mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family.
Joan is survived by her children, Lilith (Walter) Harris of Longlake; Edward William Gendron, Jr. of Guilford; and Norman John Gendron of Sherburne; grandchildren, Matthew Gendron and Megan (Charles) Berninghausen; and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Matthew Gendron.
In keeping with Joan’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
