Ernest A. Kingsley, 72, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Upstate Medical Center of Syracuse.
Ernie was born in Oxford on June 9, 1944 the son of Ernest & Marie (Tuttle) Kingsley. He grew up in Oxford and attended the Oxford schools. Ernie was an easy going, happy go lucky guy who enjoyed people and his dogs. Over the years he was self-employed and best known for his delivering of newspapers for the Syracuse and Binghamton papers.
Ernie is survived by his daughters Kelly Beeching of Syracuse, Karen Nabinger and husband Ed of Bridgeport, grandsons Steven Beeching and wife Tempestt, Matthew & Jason Nabinger, great granddaughter Isabella Beeching, sister Linda Beckwith and husband Dick of Norwich and nephew Rafe Bonner along with great niece Macaylyn Bonner.
A funeral service for Ernie will be held on Tuesday, October 11, at 11 a.m. from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Nancy Hale, Pastor of the Broad St. United Methodist Church of Norwich will officiate. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery of Oxford.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m.
