Allen M. Rowe 83, of Oxford, NY passed away on October 14, 2016. He was born in Rockwells Mills, NY a son of the late James and Wilma Rowe. Allen is predeceased by his parents, his wife Joyce Rowe, and his brother Robert Rowe.
Allen is Survived by his sons Jeffrey Rowe and Jon Rowe, his daughters Amy Rowe- Munson, and Carrie and James Robb. He is also survived by his brothers Lester and Evelyn Rowe, Sam and Bev Rowe, John and Cece Rowe, Ronnie and Susie Rowe, Gerry and Pat Rowe and Lyle and Linda Rowe. Also surviving are his sisters Cheryl and Bob Loomis, Lindy Rowe, Deb and Don Miller, and Jean Smith. Allen is also survived by his loving grandchildren Alexander and Elsa, Ashley, Mark and Sean, and Noah and Alison.
During his life Allen was a valued member of the Oxford Rod and Gun Club, and the Oxford American Legion Aux Post #376. He worked as a key player in the Apollo Project and space shuttle. Allen was the type of man who would open his door to anyone in need. He was a generous man with a great sense of humor, who gave without expecting anything in return because it was just the right thing to do. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
