ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. - Beverly Anne Guinn Gridley, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away August 6th, 2009 from cancer.
Born in Norwich on November 21, 1933, she was the daughter of Ben and Marjorie Brown Guinn. She graduated from Norwich High School in 1951, Oneonta State Teachers College in 1955 and State College of Georgia. On April 7th, 1956, she married Gordon (Grid) Gridley.
Beverly is survived by her children, Krista Gridley of Athens, Ga., Kathleen Gridley and Greg Dudley of Brandon, Fla.,Kim and Ted Farmer of Alpharetta, Ga.; five grandchildren; her husband Tom Frazier; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn (Jackie) and Gordon Beckwith; a brother and sister-in-law, Roland (Butch) and Mary Guinn; a brother-in-law, Art and Mary Shaffer along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Betty Shaffer and husband, Grid Gridley.
A celebration of her life will be held October 11th at 1 p.m. in Norwich at the First Baptist Church dining hall. Family and friends are invited.
