Maxwell Curtis Horton, 21, of Sherburne, died at home on December 24, 2016.
A lifelong resident of Sherburne, born on the Fourth of July, 1995, he was the son of Marsha Guzewich and Wells Horton.
Max earned his GED in 2013 and hoped to find employment in the wind energy industry. At the time of his death, he was employed at Southern Tier Pet Nutrition in Sherburne.
Max was concerned about the environment, and loved being out in nature. He also enjoyed driving from a very early age and had a mechanical talent. He doted on his son, Bradlee VanTine.
He is survived by his parents, his fiancé, Sarah VanTine, and Bradlee, his baby son; his sister, Marni Horton and Mike Fossaceca; his great-aunt Dorothy Harrienger, uncles and aunts, John Guzewich and Carol Knudson, Jane and Dan Guzewich, Sat Mandir Khalsa and Hari Mandir Khalsa, and Audrey Horton; and cousins Jessica, Emily, Ellis, and Vienna Guzewich, Jean and James Astrue, Hari Narayan Singh, Caley and Chris Offenhauser, Joel and Natalie O’Connor, Donald and Jenny O’Connor and Scott and Kelly O’Connor.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Sherburne, with service to follow.
