ZANE A. MARVIN
PLYMOUTH – Zane A. Marvin, 55, of Beaver Meadow Rd., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Oneida Healthcare, Oneida, NY.
He was born October 17, 1961 in Norwich, NY, a son of Zane W. and Harriett Oliver Marvin. On May 26, 1987, he married Amanda Boggs in Orlando, FL. Zane was a tractor-trailer owner/operator who hauled milk to New York City, and then logs for his brother, Doug Marvin.
His favorite times were those spent at outings and get-togethers with family and friends, and especially with his granddaughter, Jernee. He enjoyed several hobbies, including riding his motorcycle, watching TV westerns, NASCAR and WWE, and doing macrame, creating hammocks and other items.
Surviving are his wife, Amanda; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Zane, Jr. and Heather Marvin of North Pitcher; and Zack Marvin of FL; two daughters, Tiffany Steele of Norwich and Ashley Steele of Columbus, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Dolly Marvin of South Plymouth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Gene Nelson of Smyrna; Beverly and Jim Darling of Norwich; Marge Pittsley of FL and Geraldine Terry of NC; sister-in-law, Susan Marvin of Beaver Meadow; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Eddie Marvin; three sisters, Becky Marvin, Janice Manwarren and Sarah Louise Locke; and a granddaughter, Zoe Marvin.
In keeping with his wishes, services and interment are private at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, NY.
