CHARLES L. COLLINS
It’s with heavy hearts the Collins family would like it to be known of the loss of their beloved father, Charles L. Collins. He was a superman to his children and a super hero to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All through his life, he wore many hats to provide for his soul-mate, Patricia and all of their children. He always had time to pick on his family and friends. He was quite the jokester, always having a smile on his face as big as his heart. He was predeceased by his father, Levi Collins; his mother, Viola Moon; his loving wife, Patricia Collins; his son, Charles L. Collins, Jr.; his sister, Edith; and his brother, Bill. Survivors include his daughters, Tina and Don Orlopp, of Newark, NY; Charlene Collins, of Vestal, NY; Sara and Mark Motter, of Ohio; Christal Fowlston, of Norwich; Terri and David Howe, of Sherburne; Trixie Perry and Henry Jones, Jr., of Smyrna; Theresa Collins and Richard Barley, of Sherburne; and Torri and Robert Miles, of Earlville; his sons, Charles L. Collins, III and Carrie Hathaway, of Ohio; and Henry Jones, Sr., and Irene Brower of Sherburne; 29 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; his brother, Edward and Deb Collins, of North Norwich; his sister, Barb Campbell, of Tennessee; and his canine companion, Baby Collins. Memorial services for Charles will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to R.J. Fahy Funeral Home 116 N. Broad St. Norwich.
