Florence S. Biviano, 91, of Norwich passed away Thursday evening, October 12, 2017, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 16, 1926 in Norwich, the daughter of Clifford and Bessie (Cummings) Burlingame. She grew up in Norwich and was a 1943 graduate of the Norwich High School. In the early 1970’s Florence moved to Syracuse where she continued to work for several car dealerships. Florence moved back to Norwich in 2009 and resided in Grace View Manor.
A warm and friendly person, Florence enjoyed her home, family and was a woman of good faith with her church being very important to her. She enjoyed a good game of cards, either pitch or rummy. Her home was always decorated with a “monthly theme”. Word search was a favorite of Florence’s, she enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show, loved spending time looking at family pictures and couldn’t wait for the bank statement to balance the checkbook.
Florence is survived by her children Robert (Judy) Pike of Edmond, OK, Marlyn Morey of Wildwood, FL, Donald (Barbara) Pike of Lexington, SC, Claudia (Ed) Burghard of Loveland, OH; and step children Jim (Linda) Biviano of Norwich, Paul Biviano of White Settlement, TX, Nancy Biviano of Binghamton, Richard Biviano of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Steve (Lori) Biviano of Norwich.
