Bill was always up for a good debate, a friendly card game or a competitive game of chess or a challenging video game. Bill had a vivid imagination and was a talented writer and artist during high school days. In later years, upon his return to New York, he found peace gardening with his Mother in North Norwich. He loved to discuss his travels around the world while in the Navy, spending many years in Japan.

“To the outside world, we all grow old. But as brothers and sisters, as family – we know each other as we were. We share private family jokes, we remember family feuds, secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. It’s the circle of life, and it moves us all…through despair and hope, through faith and love, ’till we find our place, find peace, on the path unwinding. The song is ended, but the melody lingers on…..”
That perpetual smirk will be remembered for a long, long time.
