James Richard McLean Sr., 63, of Norwich, NY, passed on February 28, 2018, following a spirited fight against cancer.
Quick to lend a helping hand, his generosity was only surpassed by his wood working skills. The third son to Mary and George McLean (deceased), he leaves behind wife Nancy (Koulermos) of 45 years, son James Jr. and daughters Kerry and Kristina, son-in-law Steven, as well as three grandchildren who will miss their Pop Pop. He also leaves behind sister Sue and brothers George, Charles, David, Tony and Patrick.
Some will remember Jim for winning The OCC Spider bike in 2007, others will be reminded of Jim every time they see his craftsmanship in their homes.
He grew up on Long Island, working many years for King Kullen, before retiring to Norwich, NY in 2003. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, Crafting and working on Mustangs.
