Betty J. Combes, 76, of Norwich passed away Sunday morning, March 18, 2018, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born on November 2, 1941 in Oxford the daughter of John and Gertrude (Banks) Satterlee. She has made her home in Norwich for many years and has worked for the Bluebird Bakery, the Norwich Shoe Co., TACO in Sherburne and also worked in area private homes as a nurses aide.
Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years John Combes of Norwich, her daughters Charlotte Combes and wife Nikki of Smyrna and Brenda Combes and companion Rob of South Plymouth, siblings Katherine Cummings, Mary (Edward) Phetteplace,, Herbert (Cheryl) Satterlee, Josephine (Harry) Warner and Becky (Dick) Hagenbuch and grandchildren Kayleb,Nyoka,Cooper, Angelia and Autum.
Betty was predeceased by her daughter Jeannie Henne, sisters Rose Marie Satterlee, Virginia Carney and Leona Manwarren.
At Betty’s request there will be no formal services.
