Bradley S. Chawgo, 23, of Norwich and most recently of the Buffalo area, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Brad was born on August 25, 1994 in Norwich the son of Tracy Chawgo and Judith Robinson Chawgo.
He grew up in Norwich and was a 2013 graduate of the Norwich High School.
During his high school years he was involved in the sports program where he was a member of the track and football teams. In his younger years he had also played in the pop warner league.
Following his graduation from NHS, Brad followed his sister Alyssa to the Buffalo area where he attended the University of Buffalo graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Brad liked adventure. Following his graduation he and his girlfriend Hannah, loaded up the pick-up truck and camper and set out cross country.
They eventually ended up in Arizona where they both worked for a brief period of time before deciding to return to the Buffalo area. Once there he gained employment with Delta-Sonic where he worked as the manager.
Brad was a multitalented individual. He enjoyed sketching, drawing, singing and playing the guitar. Over the years he had sung in several area talent shows as well as singing in the Park Place Idol night where he drew a standing ovation. He found peace and solitude in playing his guitar and spending time outdoors.
Throughout his life Brad was mechanically inclined and it goes without saying he had a great passion for motorcycles. Over his life he has bought, rebuilt and sold many bikes and his current bike was one he added his own personal touches to make it exactly how he wanted it to be..
In a nut shell, Brad was loveable, talented man who love life and enjoyed family and friends.
Brad is survived by his parents; Judith (Judy) Chawgo of Norwich, Tracy (Mindy) Chawgo of Norwich, siblings Alyssa Chawgo of Buffalo, Ryley Chawgo of Norwich, Chandler and Alex Wehrli both of Norwich, maternal grandparents John and Pat Robinson of South New Berlin and his girlfriend Hannah Esthimer of Buffalo. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Brad was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Carl and Karen Chawgo.
A Memorial Service for Brad will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 11:00 am from the Broad St. United Methodist Church of Norwich. The Rev. Rachel Morse, Pastor will officiate.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7 pm.
