SHERBURNE – Judith Anne Nixon, 62, of Pleasant Valley Rd., formerly of Neptune, N.J. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at her home.
She was born Nov. 16, 1947 in Brooklyn, a daughter of Francis and Irene Dillon. She married John H. Nixon on Oct. 7, 1972 in Colts Neck, N.J. Following John‚s retirement from the U.S. Navy in 1985, they moved to Sherburne. Judy was a homemaker, a loving wife and a devoted mother to her two children. She enjoyed spending her summers with family at the beach in Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J.
Surviving are her husband, John; a son, John J. Nixon of Sherburne; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Ryan of Los Angeles, Calif.; her mother, Irene Dillon of Neptune, N.J.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernadette and Wayne Franz of Peachtree, Ga.; Susan and Sal Ordino of Neptune, N.J.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Marie Dillon of Oakhurst, N.J.; Kevin and Deborah Dillon of Manalapan, N.J.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services and interment will be at the convenience of her family.
