NORWICH – Joseph Graf, 63, of Norwich, a decorated Vietnam War Veteran passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Joe was born in Queens, the son of Joseph and Mary Menendez Graf in October of 1946. He has made his home in Norwich for over 30 years and had previously worked for Nina’s Pizza. Prior to living in Norwich, he had lived in McDonough with his parents. Joe had served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.
Joe is survived by his brother-in-arms Frank Schreier of Norwich and several friends in the Norwich area. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister.
At Joe’s request, there will be no formal services and interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Norwich.
Arrangements are by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
