NORWICH – Thomas Shellito, 67, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, Dec. 4, 2009, at his home.
The son of Donald and Mary Shalitz Shellito, Tom was born in July of 1942 in Linesville, Pa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed as a graphic artist by P&G Pharmaceuticals in Norwich. During his years in Norwich, Tom was a member of the Norwich Elks Lodge BPOE #1222, and the American Legion Post #189.
Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Shellito of Norwich; his sons Todd Shellito and wife Melissa of Denver, Colo., and Brian Shellito; and by step-sons Jeff Frank and wife Chris of Denver and Brian Frank and wife Darleen of Oneonta. Also surviving are grandchildren: Brendon, Brittany, Charlotte, Amber, Austin, Gianna, and Nicholas; his sister, Joan Shellito of Detroit, and his aunt, Theresa Manetti of Pa. Tom was predeceased by his brother Ronald.
Memorial services for Tom will be held in the near future, time and place to be announced.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
