Janice E. (Pocky) Murray, 56, a lifelong resident of Norwich passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Pocky was born on July 19, 1961 In Norwich the daughter of Noral “Pat” and Marion (Coles) Murray. She was a lifelong Norwich resident and attended the Norwich schools.

Over the years Pocky has worked for the Norwich Shoe Co. and Neuland’s Cleaning Service. She enjoyed playing cards, domino’s and always could be found with a puzzle book in her hand.

Pocky is survived by her siblings Karen (Varley) Brazee of Oxford, Noral “Pat” (Dawn) Murray of So. New Berlin, Diane Lockwood, Betty (Howard) Larry, Ruth Murray, Sandy Murray, and Linda Sue Murray all of Norwich. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Pocky was predeceased by her parents and a brother Thomas Murray.

A Memorial service for Pocky will be held on Friday, August 3, at 11:00 am from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
