Linda Forster, 63, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 29, 2018.

Linda was born in Norwich, NY a daughter of the late Oscar and Betty (Gibbons) Schaefer. Linda was predeceased by her parents and by her brother and sister Joanne Schraft and Jimmy Schafer.

Linda is survived by her daughter Hannah Dean, her son James Dean, and her grandchildren Emmah Towndrow and Blake Dean. She is also survived by her sister Kimberly Walker and her brother John Schafer. Also surviving Linda is her boyfriend Nate Twitchell and many loving nieces and nephews.

In her teen years and early 20’s she traveled, raced cars, and partied and had a good time.

When she had her children were born, she raised them by herself! She took the family hiking, fishing and camping all the time.

Later in life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and going on with her daughter and granddaughter.

She was an amazing mother, Nona, daughter and sister.

A memorial service will be held at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rich Howard officiating.
