Robert Erastus Ingraham
Robert “Bob” Erastus Ingraham, Jr., 47, of Oxford, passed away on August 29, 2018, surrounded by family. Bob was born January 24, 1971, in Norwich, NY, son of Robert E. Ingraham, Sr., and Barbara Bakoon Ingraham.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Ingraham, Sr., and by his daughter, Megan Ingraham.
Bob is survived by his mother, Barbara, and his sons Nathaniel, Aidian and Logan.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Shane and Melissa Ingraham, Donald and Tammy Ingraham, Wade and Jackie Ingraham, Sandi Stoddard, Sherri and Pat Bousson and Teresa Davidson; nieces and nephews Dylan Ingraham, Jacob Ingraham, Edward Ingraham, Tyler Stoddard, Cheyanne Ingraham, Elizabeth Ingraham, Kristin Stoddard, Nicole Stoddard; girlfriend Leslie Benza Knapp; and many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bob loved working with children. He coached for Oxford Youth Football for 9 years, and he was also a teacher’s aide with Norwich School District.
Bob was loved and appreciated by his community. He was always ready and willing to help no matter what anyone needed. Bob also enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking and fishing.
Bob had a special place in his heart for his reptiles, and helping people to overcome their fear of snakes. Bob will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY. Bob’s family will be hosting a celebration of life at the Ingraham residence at 112 Bowman Creek Road, Oxford, NY, on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at 2pm, and all friends and family are welcome.
