Jamie April Thompson 39 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on September 9, 2018 at her home.

Jamie was born on April 9, 1979 in Sidney, NY the daughter of William & Rose (Hendrickson) Heath.

Her childhood was spent in the Davenport area. She was a graduate of Charlotte Valley Central School. She operated Thompson Tiny Tot’s, a daycare in New Berlin, was employed by the Red Apple also in New Berlin and was a member of the Unadilla Valley Central School Board of Education.

On May 26, 2002 she married Dwain Thompson who survives her.
In addition to her husband, Jamie is survived by her children; Emilee Rose Thompson, Seth William Thompson and Cody Keith Thompson all of New Berlin. She is also survived by two sisters: Priscilla Berk of Palmyra, PA and Victoria Heath of Davenport, NY.

Jamie was a very loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was a giving person, a very hard worker and dear friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dick Anderson officiating. The service will be held at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY. Calling hours will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the funeral service, also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ‘The Thompson Tiny Tots’ memorial fund for underprivileged children in the community in need of school supplies and clothing.
