Nora Marie Smith, 70, of Norwich went to be with the lord on October 2, 2018.

Born May 5, 1948 to Charles and Evelyn Smith, in Binghamton NY.

Left to pass on her love are her two children, Timothy Smith, and Fawn Smith-Ketchum (Clifton III) both of Norwich. Her 2 grandchildren, Mara Marie Thorpe (AKA Destiny) and Nora Ellen Smith-Ketchum. She is also survived by her 5 sisters and 2 brothers, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nora enjoyed the festivals and fears scene, where she could be found at any given time spreading love and friendships to all.

She leaves behind many people she considered her friends and family at these festivals, and will be sorely missed at these gatherings in the future.

Nora was filled with a lot of love, wisdom, and laughter.
She enjoyed her arts, crafts, and baking. Which she also shared at these festivals. Nora could often be found at a local fishing spot enjoying her passion of fishing.

A gathering to celebrate Nora’s life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., October 20 at the Norwich, Grange.
