Stephen W. Mercurio, 89, of Norwich passed away on October 12, 2018 at the New York State Veteran’s Home in Oxford.

He was born in Norwich on April 15, 1929 to the late Giovanni and Mary Mercurio.

He was also predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Gertrude in 2005; his sisters, Carmela, Rose, Josephine, and Edith, as well as his brother, Wilson. Survivors include his brother, Samuel; and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen was laid to rest in a private service at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Norwich.
