Donna L. Armondi, 64, of Sherburne passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Donna was born in Norwich, NY daughter of the late Donald V. Armondi and Louise M. Armondi. Donna was predeceased by her son Joseph Conroy and her grandchild Elliott Lajara.

Donna is survived by her loving partner “Donna’s Joe” Joe Conroy, her sons David and Wendi Armondi, Teddy Vinal and Lori Brazee, Chris Vinal, Jerome Conroy, and John Conroy. She is also survived by her daughters Renee` Vinal and Mr. Hill, Dianna Lajara and Anthony Wheeler, and by her brothers Harry and Carol Armondi, Ron Armondi and Kathy Jackson, Jerry Armondi and Jess Rogers. Donna is also survived by her sisters Patty Clendening and Andy Blackman, and Nancy Armondi. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Donna was a graduate of Oxford Academy High School and drove bus for the district as well as First Transit for over 25 years. Donna loved to travel, going to the beach and dolphins.

She was an excellent baker and always enjoyed homemade fudge, no bake cookies. She had a knack for fixing things with duct tape earning her the nickname of “duct tape queen”.

She was an outspoken and independent woman. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved her family and friends fiercely and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Donna’s name can be made out to the Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY 13830. Contributions will go toward Donna’s funeral expenses.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5:00PM -9:00PM at the American Legion Post # 376, 17 S. Washington Ave, Oxford, NY 13830.
