Myrna E. Glauer passed on to heaven on November 17, 2018 at the Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY following a long battle with lung disease.
Myrna was predeceased by her beloved husband Steven Glauer, Sr. in 1990. Steve and Myrna came to the Morrisville area late in 1980 When Steve took a job as the dairy farm manager at the Morrisville Agricultural and Technical college. They were active members of the Morrisville Fire Department and Lions club and well known by many friends both in Morrisville and Mt. Upton where they met and started their lives together. Myrna was born in Endicott, NY to Carl and Hope Wilbur and spent her formative years in the Greene, NY area.
Myrna leaves behind daughters Kathleen Charpia (Craver) and her spouse Jerry Des Jardins of Eaton, Kym Williams (Craver) and husband Jimmy of Campobello, SC, a son Steven Glauer, Jr. and his wife Milly of Cazenovia, and a daughter in law Brenda Craver the wife of Myrna’s beloved son Mark Craver who predeceased her in 2010
Myrna also leaves behind a sister Karen Lowe of Oxford, a brother Clair Wilbur of Sherburne, and sister-in-law Karen Tonini and husband of Chandler, Arizona.
Also surviving Myrna are grandchildren Hillary Walsh (Charpia) and husband Steven, and a grandson Devin Charpia all of Summerville, SC, two grandsons Jeremiah and Luman Craver of Mt. Upton, NY, a grandson Dylan Williams of Campobello, SC, and granddaughters Rebekka McGregor (Glauer) and husband Damian of Clarksville TN, Makayla Glauer of Syracuse, NY, and Alex Opperman of Phoenix, AZ. Myrna leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren who loved her deeply.
In keeping with her wishes, services and interment are private.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Eaton Fire Department.
