HAMILTON – Richard F. “Dick” Bradley, 69, of Eaton St., passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford.
He was born Sept. 11, 1940 in Oneida, a son of the late Howard S. and Iola “Lolly” Fuess Bradley. Dick was a graduate of Hamilton High School and the New Hampshire College of Accounting and Commerce. He began his teaching career in Bellows Falls, Vermont and joined the faculty of Hamilton Central School in 1972. In Hamilton, Dick taught accounting, business and typing courses as well as being the advisor to the Majestic Color Guard until his retirement. Following that, he was a bus driver for the school system for many years. His favorite hobbies included his miniature train collection and making Christmas crafts.
He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Hamilton.
Surviving is his brother, Phillip C. Bradley of Hamilton and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary‚s Church, Hamilton.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m..
Burial will be in the Madison Village Cemetery, Madison.
