Frederick S. ManWarren


Frederick S. ManWarren, 72, a resident of McDonough since 1976 passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2019, at the Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.
Fred was born in Norwich on February 25, 1947 the son of Stewart and June (Blackman) ManWarren. He has been a resident of the area all of his life and was a graduate of the Norwich High School. Fred worked on road construction crews for most of his working career. Most of that time he was employed by O&W Hubbell Construction of Utica as a Labor Foreman. A conservationist at heart he enjoyed many outdoor activities especially hunting, trapping, and fishing. He most enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.
Fred is survived by his mother June ManWarren, his children Connie A. ManWarren of Norwich, Wendy (Bill) Snyder of Latham, Tina (Ed) Roche-Kelly of Brooklyn, his grandchildren Matthew Snyder, Niall, Cormac and Saoirse Roche-Kelly. Also surviving are his siblings Donna (Joe) Loscavio of Guilford, Diane (Jim) Grewe of FL, Garry (Connie) ManWarren of FL and Gerald (Kim) ManWarren also of FL. Fred is also survived by the mother of his children Dorothy ManWarren of Norwich along with several nieces and nephews.
Fred was predeceased by his sister Laura ManWarren and his brother Carl (Ronnie) ManWarren.
At Fred’s request there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, the COPD Foundation, or The Oxford Rod and Gun Club for the Education of Young Hunters.
Arrangements are with the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home.
