NORWICH – Michael Leigh Vorhies, Parrish, Fla., formerly of Norwich, passed away on January 9, 2010.
Mike was born March 15, 1950. He was a graduate of Norwich HS class of 68  and attended Morrisville College. He worked at Briggs Lumber company, Victory Markets and Red Barrel Food store.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Marianne, daughters Shelley Kuhn and Rebecca and Glen Wilkinson of Florida; grandchildren Broc Kuhn and Tessa Whaley; a brother Tracy (Lefty) and Sherry Vorhies and a niece, Hollyann Vorhies.
He was predeceased by his parents, Laurie and Jim Vorhies.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on  Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at the Ontario Bar and grill on Griffin street from noon to 4 p.m.
